Bulk Branded Tumblers

MetalIntermediate~$14 materials~20 min

Logo-engraved tumblers are the corporate workhorse of a laser business. One 50-piece order for a company outperforms fifty individual retail sales in both revenue and time-per-dollar, and it repeats every year.

Why it sells

B2B orders are high-quantity, low-design-churn (one logo, many units), and margin-rich. Landing two or three recurring corporate accounts stabilizes a whole season.

Suggested materials

Tap a material to find dialed-in laser settings for it.

How to make it

  1. 1Confirm the tumbler is laser-engravable stainless — powder-coated tumblers engrave to a bright silver mark under the coat.
  2. 2Get the logo as clean vector art; rasterize only if you must.
  3. 3Build a jig so every tumbler seats in the exact same spot — consistency is everything at volume.
  4. 4Use a rotary attachment for wrap-around logos; a flat area can go direct.
  5. 5Run one, approve it with the client, then batch the rest against the jig.

Pro tips

  • A good jig is the difference between a 50-piece order being profitable or painful.
  • Powder-coated tumblers engrave to a crisp two-tone with no coating or spray needed.
  • Quote per-unit with quantity breaks and a one-time setup fee for art prep.

Pricing guidance

Blank stainless tumblers run $8–$16. Charge $18–$28 per unit at low quantities, dropping to $14–$18 at 50+, plus a $25–$75 art setup fee.

FAQ

What tumblers can be laser engraved?+

Stainless-steel tumblers, especially powder-coated ones, engrave cleanly — the coat lifts to a bright silver logo. Plastic and fully clear tumblers are not good candidates.

How do I price a bulk corporate tumbler order?+

Quote per-unit with quantity breaks ($18–$28 low volume, $14–$18 at 50+) and add a one-time art-setup fee. A jig keeps per-unit time low so margins hold at volume.
