I used 1/16"(1mm) Glossy White Bright Acrylic to cut, engrave, and then sublimate to create covers for my wife's glasses that are magnetic, so she can change them to match whatever she wears or whatever holiday is coming up. This was done on my P2S, using a honeycomb panel with the paper protection sheet still on the acrylic when engraving and cutting. I found strong 5x5x1mm N52 square magnets and used clear epoxy to secure them to the acrylic in the area I engraved. The design file for the frames was found on Etsy under the style of glasses she wears.
