Machine & Source: xTool F2 Series (Infrared Light Source) Material / Blank: Stainless Steel Military Pendant Operation Mode: Process on Baseplate (Engrave / Bitmap Photo Engraving) Dot Duration: 2000 μs Power: 25%DPI: 500 DPIPasses: 1 Pass Bitmap Mode: Jarvis Mode Engraving Mode: Bi-directional Used these settings to engrave a detailed grayscale family photo onto a stainless steel military dog tag using the xTool F2 Infrared light source. Kept the power moderately low at 25% combined with a high 2000 μs Dot Duration and 500 DPI to bring out crisp details and smooth shading in the portrait without over-burning or melting the metal. Jarvis Mode was used for the bitmap dithering to handle the skin tones and fabric textures naturally.
